Neighborhood Flea is a vibrant, pop up urban marketplace offering an inspired shopping experience in Pittsburgh's Strip District. The Neighborhood Flea celebrates all that is unique to Pittsburgh including the shoppers themselves and sellers who are our neighbors: a maker/ small business owner/ collector/ entrepreneur/ service provider/ food truck/ artisan food creator. This market provides the opportunity for Pittsburghers to enjoy the thrill of the hunt, discovering hidden gems from across the region. Enjoy specialty coffee roasts, vintage clothing, repurposed wood fashioned into new furniture, organic skin care products, and more.
We'll be set up at 23rd and Penn in Pittsburgh's Strip District from 9 am - 2 pm on September 28th. Pre-game with us as we'll have delicious food trucks, local antique treasures, clothing for men and women, handmade sellers and more!
Here are some photos from last month, some of my booth, some closeups of some items I made for the Flea and some just of the Flea! Enjoy!
So that was my booth and below are some wood caddies I made with vintage insulators and Jello molds.
The mini hairpin legs?
Copper pipe hangers!
I found this gorgeous light ceiling light cover that I made into a bird feeder.
And here are some nesting tables that got updated with some modern fabric.
This little sewing chair got a new life with some updated fabric as well….
Fabric can transform a piece can't it?????
Now here are some fun pics of the Flea!
I hope you are having an excellent day so far and I'll be showing you the nesting tables and the sewing chair befores in a day or two to give you an idea about how much better they are now!
Always being renewed,
it looks amazing! i love all of your pieces- the bird feeder is awesome!
